Delivery

Glasses and sunglasses from Superdrug Online Opticians can be shipped to UK, European and other worldwide address from only £5.95 by standard mail. We also have courier options available for a little more (depending on country) – See below for details and charges.


Orders are generally completed and dispatched within 7-10 working days with delivery usually occurring within the following timescales:-


  • UK Usually 1-3 days
  • Europe Usually 3-5 days
  • USA / Canada Usually 7-10 days
  • Australia / NZ Usually 7-10 days
  • Rest of the World Usually 7-10 days


Collect from Store

All orders can be collected from one of over 800 Superdrug high street stores. Simply select 'Collect from Store' at the checkout and choose your local store where you would like your order delivered to. Collect from Store is free of charge for orders over £30 (or £5.95 for orders below £30).


Once we’ve received your order in our Superdrug store, we will send you a text or an email to notify you that your order is ready for collection.




Production Timescales

90% of our orders are completed within 7-10 working days, this includes orders with high index lenses and complex prescriptions.


Unfortunately on rare occasions your order may take slightly longer due to:-


  • Unforeseen delays in the production process.
  • Requirement of specialist glazing to ensure best possible finish and thinnest lenses.
  • Failure to meet our strict quality control guidelines.

In these cases, our customer services team will contact you to ensure you’re kept up to date with progress.

Our quoted delivery times are from date of order completion and dispatch - this is normally 7-10 working days.


FREE Super Saver Delivery

Tracking details are not available for this option.

Spend over £25.00 to qualify for this delivery option. Once qualified, you will need to select this option at the checkout to get free delivery. Delivery will normally be within 7-10 working days depending on the country your order is being dispatched to.


Standard Mail - from £5.95

Tracking details are not available for this option.

We will send your order to you via Royal Mail 1st/2nd class. If ordering outside the UK, your order will be transferred to your local mail service (ie, USA = US Postal Service). Delivery will normally be within 7-10 working days depending on the country your order is being dispatched to.


Special Delivery – from £8.95 (UK Only)

We will send your order to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Delivery is guaranteed to arrive next day before 1pm (Monday – Saturday) after your order has been completed.


DPD Courier (UK) – from £7.95

We will send your order to you via DPD courier service. Delivery is next day (Monday to Friday) after order completion to UK addresses although times can vary for offshore addresses. See table below for details.

Shipping Delays


Royal Mail / Standard Mail

Once your order has shipped you will receive an email to notify you of dispatch, if you do not receive your order within 10 working days* please contact our customer services team and we will try to resolve this as quickly as possible for you.

*Allow 20 working days for international orders


DPD / FedEx Courier

If your order does not arrive within the times stated above, please do not worry; it is very likely that it will be held at your local DPD / FedEx depot. In line with DPD / FedEx guidelines, we will not consider a package lost until 20 working days have passed. This is because the vast majority of packages will be delivered or returned to us as 'undeliverable' within this time.


What to do if a parcel is delayed

If your order has not arrived after 20 working days, please contact us to arrange a replacement. Include your order number, name and the date of dispatch in your email. We will send you a non-delivery form that must be complete so we can use as evidence of non-receipt in our claim with our shippers. This does not apply to customer's own items or to reglazes which are sent at the customer's risk unless we agree otherwise in writing.
